I'm pretty sure there were times during my teenage years that my parents would have at least given the idea some thought before dismissing it, but I know they'd never have gone through with it:-)
Just goes to show you that any asswipe can be a parent.

It's just impossible to comprehend how crushing it would be to be 10 years old and have your parents dump you at a hospital.
