Do you know where I can meet misanthropes? I have not successfully found any groups in my google searches. I know it seems a bit silly, but I figure we could all bitch about how we hate people.

My parents have a house in New Milford and I went to college in CT, all in the 1990s.

I lived in Romantic Willimantic (and I've got the t-shirt to prove it).
I don't think we know each other, although I'd be surprised to find out that there was another Dave Cavalier in Connecticut.
Where did we meet?
The Dave Cavalier I knew worked at a place called the Bench Shop, which is where I met him.
We did not know each other very long (he moved to Boston), but when I moved this summer, I came across an old letter and a mix tape from him.
Nope, that ain't me.
