Dude, you have to turn on the word verification, or else you're going to continue to get comment spam.

By chance, are you the same Dave Cavalier who lived in northeastern Connecticut in the early 90s?

If you are the same person I used to know, the fact that I can't recognize you is probably due as much to the passage of time as the costume.

If the name is just a coincidence, my apologies-- I have enjoyed your posts since finding your blog this weekend-- and perhaps I can contribute something wittier in the future.

My parents have a house in New Milford and I went to college in CT, all in the 1990s.

What's your name?

Aimee.

I lived in Romantic Willimantic (and I've got the t-shirt to prove it).

I don't think we know each other, although I'd be surprised to find out that there was another Dave Cavalier in Connecticut.

Where did we meet?

The Dave Cavalier I knew worked at a place called the Bench Shop, which is where I met him.

We did not know each other very long (he moved to Boston), but when I moved this summer, I came across an old letter and a mix tape from him.

Nope, that ain't me.

Welcome anyway. I can't believe that there is another Dave Cavalier so close by. It's a reasonably rare name.

Do you know where I can meet misanthropes? I have not successfully found any groups in my google searches. I know it seems a bit silly, but I figure we could all bitch about how we hate people.
