The Misanthrope had hoped to fly up to see his parents at the little grass landing strip next to their house in Connecticut. Unfortunately, Orange Crush needed a whole lot of maintenance attention today and I spent most of my time fixing all the little things that need to be fixed on a small airplane. Add to that the fact that I had to take the train to Linden because the Misanthropemobile is in the shop. By the time I was ready to fly, I was pretty much out of time.
So, I decided to do a quick loop up and down the Hudson River. Below are a few photos. Unfortunately, there was a low layer of smog hanging over the area, so the view was not too crisp.
